A loan is given with the understanding that it will be repaid at some future date, in accordance with the specific terms of the loan. Loans given by Case Western Reserve University (including Perkins, Health Professions Student Loans, and Federal Nursing Loans) are not credited to a student’s tuition account until the student completes all requirements for the loan, including signing the promissory note (or electronic equivalent).
If the student’s tuition bill is not paid because of a failure to sign for a loan by the final due date for tuition payments, a late payment charge will be added to the bill.
